Accessibility statement
Updated: 7.9.2022
An accessible website is a website that allows people with disabilities and older people to surf with the same level of efficiency and enjoyment as surfers.
About 20 to 25 percent of the population encounters difficulties using the Internet and may benefit from more accessible Internet content, according to a study conducted in 2003 by the Microsoft company.
Hollander Distillery has done everything in its power to make our website accessible to as wide an audience as possible, so that people of all disabilities can use it. We strive to comply as much as possible with the website accessibility law and the rules of the Israeli Center for Website Accessibility, which detail how websites are made accessible to people with disabilities. We hope that compliance with the law and rules will make our website user-friendly, but unfortunately we have not been able to make all areas and parts of our website accessible. At the same time, we are constantly trying to improve on the subject and looking for new solutions that will allow us to make more parts accessible at the same level. Therefore, in view of the dynamic nature of the website, there may be small glitches from time to time when we update it.
Website accessibility
This site complies with the requirements of the regulations on equal rights for people with disabilities (service accessibility adjustments), 2013.
The website complies with the recommendations of the Israeli standard (TI 5568) for content accessibility on the Internet at level AA and the recommendations of the WCAG2.0 document by the W3C organization.
It is also optimized for display in common browsers and for use on the cell phone.
Repairs made
Strict accessibility adjustments have been made to this site, which include, among other things, semantic and informative implementation for assistive technologies, determining navigation and operation with a keyboard only according to the recommendations of the International Web Standards Organization (W3C), color adjustments, as well as adding auxiliary labels and instructions for the benefit of all surfers. Also, in order to receive For the best browsing experience with screen reader software, we recommend using the latest NVDA software.
Some of the things done on the site
We have added an option for keyboard navigation that makes it easier to browse the site without using a mouse, adjustments to the site's compatibility for browsing with a screen reader, creating comfort for viewing the site in black and white shades/color contrast, blocking animation and any moving element on the site, highlighting links and help descriptions for images.
It should be noted that despite our efforts to make all the pages on the site accessible, the attached documents (such as Word, Excel), whatever they may be, an internal management system and video files are still in the stages of being accessible and we are working to complete this.
Please note that due to the dynamic nature of the site, minor problems may occur from time to time as it is constantly updated. We are constantly looking for solutions that will bring all areas of the site to the same level of overall internet accessibility.
If you need a document that appears on the website and it is not accessible, please contact us with a link to the location and we will take care of it as soon as possible.
If you found a component or page that is not accessible on the site, we will be happy if you contact us and we will make sure to fix it as soon as possible.
